 Our Club Program gives children a change to choose activities they would like to do. Clubs is still everyone's favorite time of the day. Twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday, our boys and girls 1-7+ groups can take part in clubs. During this time, our campers are able to signup for their choice of a variety of activities. Our clubs involve a mixed age group of campers, and they are for both girls and boys. It is a great way for out children to get to know campers that are not in their groups.
Some of our clubs tap into "the arts" such as drama, jewelry making, printing, basket making and t-shirt design. Our actors improvise being different characters on stage. Our jewelry makers have made bracelets, earrings and necklaces out of all kinds of materials. We also have seen beautiful t-shirts either tie-dyed or designed with paint. Each one is an individual masterpiece.
Our clubs also offer athletic activities like beach volleyball, basketball, hockey, soccer, football, lacrosse and baseball. Sportsmanship, team spirit, participation and skill development are our goals.
Some of our most popular clubs are cooking, plastercraft, water polo, nail polishing, lanyard and computers. Our cooks have made treats such as sand cups, taco salad and rocky road surprise. Each plastercraft artist paints a project that can be treasured forever. In water polo, our swimmers have fun playing in the water. Computer club gives our campers extra hours to practice Flobynoids, Jungle Hunt and America Online.
Plus our youth groups, Nursery, Pre-K and Kindergarten girls and boys also get to take part in clubs. They have their own clubs twice a week, just like the big kids. They also enjoy thinks like cooking, sprinkler games, sand castles, soccer, crafts and much more.
So, every Tuesday and Friday afternoons are busy times at MARK COUNTRY DAY. Every summer more and more clubs are added to give our campers even more exciting activities from which to pick.

Super Senior Division MINI TRAVEL PROGRAM, for boys and girls entering 7th, 8th and 9th grade.
Our Pre-teens will be introduced to a travel program, by taking a day trip once a week. Supervised by our professional staff, our pre-teens will travel to many exciting and interesting places, such as Great Adventure, Advertureland, Broadway play, Mets game, Fire Island, deep sea fishing, horseback riding, racquetball, indoor soccer/softball, Splish Splash, roller skating, bowling, miniature golf, go-karting.
Our pre-teens will enjoy MARK COUNTRY’S beautiful 8.5 acre facility 4 days each week. They will follow an activity schedule, tailored for their abilities and interests. They will partake in activities, such as:
Swimming in our 3 pools, with Red Cross instruction at their level
Complete sports program, including softball, volleyball, paddletennis, soccer, hockey and basketball
Specialty areas: music, arts and crafts, leather craft, dance, nature, cheering, gymnastic and kickline
Clubs meet twice a week with a choice of many special activities, two late nights and all our special events.
The Mark Country Super Senior Mini Travel Program will be a very rewarding experience for your pre-teen. We look forward to having him or her enjoy the summer with us.
