"SCHOOL IS FUN!"
 That's what our students and their parents say. From service projects and field trips to special learning events, our young students are offered a wide range of opportunities designed to enhance their studies and broaden their horizons.
Special Events: Science, social studies and language arts fairs; parties; holiday parades; read-a-thons.
Field Trips: Frequent, well-planned trips to nearby Long Island attractions and places of interest in the five boroughs; outings to Mystic, Philadelphia, Boston, Williamsburg, and Washington, DC.
Service Projects: Involvement in local and county-wide drives and programs designed to benefit the community while teaching civic responsibility.
Dramatics: Each month a class presents an exciting play for students and parents to enjoy. A special Holiday production in December, the Music Fest in March and Class Day in June bring the entire school together for a day of art, music, drama and song.
In-School Service Clubs: Safety Patrol, Computer Squad, Student Readers.
Before and After School Program: MARK COUNTRY DAY is open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM every weekday with a MINIMAL number of vacation days. The hours before and after school are devoted to recreation, sports, computer studies, academic activities, arts and crafts.
Play Days: WE ARE STILL OPEN from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM ON DAYS WHEN THE ACADEMIC PROGRAM IS IN RECESS. These days are filled with activities designed to develop social and physical skills in a safe, "fun" atmosphere.
